October ’16 has been the month of the highline, thanks to unseasonably warm weather.

Oct. 7-9: I spent at NFM, standing on a 370’, taking 5 steps on a 900’, and playing on a 150’ (got my first highline double knee drop!).

Oct. 14: I established a 70’ at Seldom Seen in Pittsburgh!  Got the full send twice, and lots of time playing, working on exposure and double knee drops, of course.

Oct. 19: I highlined a waterfall at Jemez Falls in New Mexico, again sessioning, working on my turns, exposures, and knee drops.  I did my first backwards walk on a highline (leash management!).

Oct. 23: I returned to Seldom Seen for a one-off (the line was rigged by a friend).  Definitely going to return to Seldom Seen as often as weather and time allows throughout the cold-season.

I am still eyeballing a longer highline in the area; I plan to measure and tag-line this project before the end of the year.  I may have to buy a longer mainline/backup to make the project work!
